Mary Palchak's flute students have gone on to attend such prestigious institutions as New England Conservatory, Eastman School of Music, Manhattan School of Music, Chapman University Conservatory of Music and others. Students under her tutelage play in Pacific Symphony Youth Ensembles, Orange County Youth Orchestra, Junior Chamber Music and other organizations. Her students have swept all categories of Orange County Musical Arts Competition for many years, and participate in the National Flute Association High School Competition and Southwest Youth Music Festival. They are for the most part 1st chair in their respective school ensembles. Lessons incorporate a natural physical approach to technique to avoid injury, and knowledge of composers and historical periods of music studied. Her infectious enthusiasm for music and the flute inspires her students to reach their potential, and prepares them for a life long love of music.
