I have seen zoo's of all sizes. The Tampa Zoo is a mid-size zoo, but it is special in many ways. It is home to many endangered animals. It has many animals which are rarely available in many of the large zoo's. The Tampa Zoo allows visitors to feed giraffes under the supervision of a zookeeper. I highly recommend a visit to the Tampa Zoo.
GREAT TIME BUT THE PRICES COULD BE A LITTLE CHEAPER.
Lowry Park Zoo has made huge improvements in the last 10 years or so. This is a top notch zoo. Highly recommended. Don't miss this when in the Tampa Bay Area. They have a great Children's area. Every Time we go, they have something new.
