      The Long Island Barber Institute is licensed by the University of the State of New York Education Department. We are the first and only school in Long Island offering practical training in the fastest growing industry in the country. Barbering is learned in theory and in practicum on real clients. This instructional method gives maximum exposure and serves to provide student with true hands-on learning and skill enhancement. Taught by New York State Master Barbers, students learn skills of the trade and are ultimately licensed and assisted in career development. Courses are suited for those with little or no experience, to those with experience desiring to enhance their knowledge and expertise for career development and official certification.
