General Info

I have found that empathy and compassion help people find the courage to allow healing to take place and change to happen. I have worked with many different populations including women and children in crisis, chronically and persistently mentally ill, children and adolescents removed from home due to trauma and/or abuse, families, couples and individuals. I enjoy working with clients who would like to develop skills to help decrease their anxiety and depressive symptoms. I adhere to a humanistic and client centered model, in that no person is the same and everyone deserves to be treated with empathy and a listening ear. I believe that the client should guide their own journey in therapy, and I give back up and support to the changes and desires the client has. I have over 7 years working with teenagers who are transitioning into adulthood. I help them with self-actualization, identity problems, substance abuse issues, self-esteem problems, and anxiety and depression. I also have experience working with women's issues which include but are not limited to self-esteem, perfectionism, marital issues.
