An 80 yr old underground cast iron fire main had ruptured in the early hours of the morning at our 200,000 sqft complex. Joseph P. Curiazza, Inc. was called in and responded promptly. They shut down the main water valve, in the street, to prevent further water damage and enable repairs. They performed a series of test bores to determine the location of the break. The break was located below the ground level floor slab consisted of 8 reinforced concrete. The guys cut through and removed a section of the concrete slab. The break was inaccessible with an excavator, and had to be excavated by hand. They found that a faulty section of the 10 underground cast iron fire main had to be removed because it had split. They used a hydraulic chain cutter to snap the cast iron pipe and remove it. Then a new section of pipe was lowered into place and installed. The water service to the entire complex was restored within the day. These guys did a super job and they did the right thing for us.

PRESSURE ISSUES: These guys arrived at our manufacturing facility, with all required protective gear and without having to be advised. They followed our plant safety requirements to the "T". In less than four hours, they had our water pressure problem completely resolved at the J facility - other contractors were completely baffled. These guys are good and they've been around the block a few times. We will use this company exclusively in the future. Mike D, MDS Industries.

Very Competent and Great Service Im the properties manager of a four level, 75,000 sq. ft. office building in Summit, NJ. This past summer, a severe leak developed at the collection junction for our cooling tower, which is located at the roof penetration. The entire cooling system needed to be shut down and was completely inoperable. Joseph P. Curiazza, Inc. responded immediately, and temporarily repaired the corroded junction assembly, to enable immediate service of cooling system. They designed a new collection junction with an integral flange and within days, had this junction fabricated out of polypropylene. The system was shut down at 4pm, on a weekday, to enable the installation of the new junction. Curiazzas men removed the old junction, installed the new polyethylene junction and had the system completely up and running by midnight. I highly recommend this company. Bez D.
