Idlehour Estate Idlehour Estate is a 21-acre haven of nature, history and inspiration. You find yourself at the gateway of quaint towns and the expanse of the Appalachian Mountains with all its trails, views, flora, fauna, rivers and lakes. Beyond the vineyard you can explore all 21 acres of the estate. The terrain changes from more densely forested areas on the far end, which we leave as a small sanctuary to birds, insects and self-regenerating trees. In the same area you will find four terraced plateaus. These are man-made and stem from the original farmstead on this land from the mid 1800â??s.
