Recently we had Mr. Hicks come & give an estimate to repair or replace a water heater. When he arrived he refused to answer a simple question I had for him about the heating element. He wanted to replace not only the heater but all the copper plumbing going to the heater! The house is only 7 years old &, in no way needed the plumbing replaced. When he gave a quote as to the cost to replace the heater & plumbing, the cost was quite a bit more than was expected. I told him I needed to call the home owner to make sure he was willing to pay that much. Mr. Hicks knew from the start that the home owner would not be there & that he would have to be informed before the work could be done. I told him the owner was on his way home, he then became angry and refused to wait stating he didn't know why he was there giving a quote to start with. He was very unprofessional in his attitude toward me &, apparently didn't want the job. I would not recommend him at all for any plumbing job.
