I called this firm to help me settle an old debt. After working with me to figure out my income and a payment arrangement they wanted me to give them nearly $5000 to settle the debt, but told me I would probably have to pay the entire amount the creditor was asking for. So, I called the creditor myself. After working out a payment schedule and being in good standing with the repayment terms, I was offered a final settlement option by the creditor. I made that payment in full. In the end, I saved just under $20,000 by not retaining this firm and working directly with my creditor by myself. No wonder they tell you not to have any communication with a creditor by yourself! I am now debt free and have an additional $20K to put in my own retirement plan, not my would-be attorney's!

I did alot of researching when considering the help I was looking for with my debt, there are alot of programs out there and most seem to be some sort of scam.
