Great Experience, Easy to work with in a difficult time.
I had a very positive experience with this company. I rarely post reviews, but I felt compelled to in this case. I can't fathom why there are any less than stellar reviews, and I feel like I owe it to these guys to share what they've done for me. Through one of the most painful times of my life, I turned to this company to help me gain some evidence to help me in court after being wronged by a person who I thought was my best friend and father to my children. These guys got the evidence I needed in a professional manner, were sensitive to my need for confidentiality, and will be appearing in my upcoming court case. The price was competitive, they were attentive to my requests and patient through my questions, and they tried to use my retainer in the most cost-effective way by breaking up the time over several instances rather than burning through my time. I can't thank them enough.

For a difficult situation that came up suddenly, ECI was able to assist within hours same day as requested. This company was efficient, discreet, compassionate in a very professional way, keeping all observations current with detailed information and progress reports/timely responses. My wife who has a history of mental health and substance abuse problems had been missing for 3 days when we received a tip that a prescription of hers was dropped off in another state a few hours away. I jumped in the car and started driving while I called the police only to be informed that unless she had broken the law and was wanted there was nothing they could do. I had no idea what to do and was hours away when by luck or grace I called information and asked to be connected to any private investigation firm in the area. I didn't get an answering machine or voice mail but instead was talking to Nick, who I later found out was the actual owner of East Coast Investigations. All of his agents were in the field but the location was minutes away so he jumped in the car and headed to the location while I took care of the retainer over the phone with the office. Oddly someone very close to my wife's description was there and I received photos and video directly to the phone in my hand as well as a very comforting phone call from Nick that he would not let her out of his sight, unfortunately it wasn't my wife. While my wife did end up back home and this story does have a happy ending, I will not go into all of the very personal details of what had happened. I can say that I feel very lucky because it could have turned out differently. I can also say that for a couple hours of my life and at a minutes notice Nick, not just another investigator but the actual owner of East Coast Investigations, who to this day I still have never met in person but owe so much to, was the second most important person in my life. For a couple of hours in my car with a phone in my hand Nick offered reassurance and understanding like nothing else could have. Professional, knowledgable, dedicated to the clients situation and clearly caring more about the people and the problem at hand than just a pay check. I am not one for write things like this because I always wonder if they are real but I will just say this. I am real, this story is real and I pray that I never need a private investigator again. I learned my spouse was to meet her lover and I needed to move on this information. ECI immediately dispatched an investigator whose work I am forever grateful for. He was able to capture my spouse and her lover entering this facility with video and images of them showing public displays of affection. At every point I received a call / text with an update. I was kept in the loop and felt comfortable to text back for updates too. All options were mine to make, however; I appreciate the fact that they provided me with options and opinions on what action would best fortify my case. More images and video of my spouse and her lover were captured cementing the facts and nature of the relationship. With the evidence and documentation they provided they armed my legal case to move forward swiftly. These guys are well worth it. My attorney was highly impressed with the quality of evidence. Half the process servers I called never called back.... and most of those who did call back couldn't help... which made this company quite a standout. They explained EVERYTHING, asked all the right questions.... and did the job quickly and professionally. This is a very good operation. (I hope I don't have to use them again, but should the need arise, they'll be the first people I call.)
East Coast Investigations, Inc. was able to get the pictures & video we needed to prove the mother of my 3 1/2 year old grandchild was in violation of a court order. I had never utilized a private investigator was was extremely skeptical at the start but felt no other option was available to prove the court order violation since the mother of the little girl lived in a different state than her father and I. I was extremely pleased with the professional manner the investigation was conducted, the communications that was maintained during the investigation and the outcome of the investigation. I highly recommend the services of this company and would not hesitate to utilize their services in the future.

I want to tell you if you didn't know already, that your evidence was the catalyst that got Darci to be reasonable and eventually settle on not receiving spousal support. It culminated in signing our divorce papers yesterday after a grueling 13 months. You said you'd "get it" and you did. So quickly too. You guys totally rock. I will be forever grateful.

I am an attorney in Arizona that needed information about a hotel room in Virginia Beach that was pertinent to a criminal case of a client. I had a short timeline to get the information and I needed pictures taken to document the room as well. ECI did all I could ask for and more. Nick and his investigators acted promptly and professionally in gathering the needed information within one day of me asking for it. Their rates were very reasonable too. I would certainly use ECI again, without hesitation.
