Dan Post Boot Company is a division of McRae Industries. McRae Industries operates through three companies, including McRae Footwear, Compsee and Dan Post Boot Company. McRae Footwear, which is based at the McRae Industries headquarters in Mount Gilead, N.C., produces combat boots for the militaries of the United States and Israel. Compsee, which is also based in Mount Gilead, N.C., offers manufactured and distributed hardware, systems integration and value-added services. It manufactures mobile data terminals and barcode wedges. It also provides on-site consulting; installation, training and commissioning; hardware configuration and staging; middleware integration; and custom programming. The Dan Post Boot Company, headquartered in Clarksville, Tenn., markets and distributes cowboy and work boots bearing the brands Dan Post, Laredo and Dingo.
