Established in 1982, Community Bridges is a nonprofit organization that offers substance abuse treatment and recovery services for homeless and working poor adults in Maricopa County, Ariz. It also provides a range of prevention, education and training services in schools, public and private hospitals, police and fire departments and judicial establishments. The organization additionally offers medical detoxification services. Community Bridges has five operating locations with more than 130 employees, including doctors, nurses, clinical support staff, and administrative, operations and education personnel. It provides outpatient treatment and criminal justice services. The organization s services are licensed by the Arizona Department of Health, Division of Behavioral Health Licensure and National Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
