The BEST cab in town!! Sure they take awhile to pick you up,BUT the driver is always friendly and chatty. I go to the grocery once a week,and won,t use any other company!!

Classic Cab & Courier literally saved me when they not only didn't have to, but had no taxis left to send out. I was driving across country from NC to CA and a horrible storm came through Texas. I hit black ice and totaled my truck. I was sitting in the emergency room and knew no one and had no way to get to my rental car place which was 40 miles from where I was. When I called Classic Cab, Bethany sadly informed me there was no one to send. When I explained my situation, which was very bleak, she asked me to hold on a minute and she would call me right back. Well she did! She found one of the wonderful drivers named Kayla, who wasn't even on the clock and yet she was willing to drive 80 miles roundtrip to get me, during one of the worst storms in Texas with snow and ice covering the roadways. Kayla drove me and my dog, safely to our destination. Bethany could have easily just said no, but she didn't! She went beyond the call of duty to help a stranger. AWESOME PEOPLE!!!

This service is freaking ridiculous! I called for a cab and told it would arrive to pick me up in 20-25 mins. It has so far been over an hour and 15 mins and still no one is here! I called to check on the status of my taxi, and the lady told me, "Oh, well I misjudged how far away the driver was when you called. But be assured, he is on the way". So another 20 mins after that and still no one shows up. As I'm sitting here at my house with my daughter in the hospital waiting on me to get there. I will never use this service again!

Classic Cab is notoriously unreliable. I've called for their services three time so far, and never with good results. After calling, I've been told to expect wait times that ranged from 45 minutes to 2.5 hours(!!!). I nearly missed an appointment and an outgoing flight due to this ridiculously poor service.Tip: If you're going to Abilene, you'd be better off renting a car instead.
