The city s sanitation department employs more than 25 full- and part-time staff members who provide compost pickup, brush chipping, refuse collection, and commercial cardboard and paper recycling services. Through its shop and garage department, the city government offers maintenance services for loaders, sweepers, and packer and dump trucks. It also provides chuck hole repair, street sweeping, sand removal, city property mowing, and drywell and sewer cleaning services through the MVH department. Through its traffic department, the City of Columbus government offers pavement mark painting, barricade setup, and traffic signal and sign maintenance services.
