My chimney was hit by lightning. TheChimney Doctor did excellent repairs and also installed an insert in the fireplace. The owner is a hands on guy and spent more time actually doing the work himself than I expected. He is very knowledgable and cares about his work product. The workers were courteous and arrived at the scheduled times. They cleaned up everything when they were finished. I am fully satisfied with their work and would highly recommend (I already have) the Chimney Doctor to anyone. My neighbor also uses the Chimney Doctor for their annual fireplace maintainence. If you want to cut corners and have someone who just wants supervise, stand around and talk, or is out to make a buck in any business they can, don't call the Chimney Doctor. He works hard to do the job right. If you want a business owner that actually work harder than the guys that work for him, Dave is your man.

I made an appointment with this company four weeks in advance...and the representative was an hour and a half late! Then he does a visual inspection and says the chimney is "OK" to use. The next day his supervisor called to reschedule my stove/chimney saying he did not have time to clean our chimney when he was there. Well thats sad and sorry business ethics to me. Being 90 minutes late may have been the problem that the worker was afraid to tell his boss! The entire story the worker told the boss is not at all what happened when he was at our home. So the supervisor wanted to charge us another $45.00 fee for driving to our home and a cleaning fee of $150.00! Needless to say I did not retain their services. This is why I say beware of this company. They sure were not customer friendly in my opinion.
