I've been using Melroy for our historic home's heating and air conditioning for more than 15 years. Their work has been done professionally and they've explained what they had to do in each case. I've been very happy with them and will continue to use them for my plumbing and heating needs.

When we bought our home the only issue that needed to be repaired was the Central Air. The Seller brought in Melroy which did just over 4 figures worth of work to the system to repair a coolant leak and gave it a clean bill of health. Two weeks after closing we were not convinced the AC was working right. I called Melroy who sent a Tech out, they charged $96 for a service call and said everything was fine.

Two weeks after that the house would not cool below 85, so we called Melroy again. They said we were low on coolant but were adamant that the system was not leaking. $200 some dollars later we had more coolant and the system was working fine again. They said if it leaked again they would have to do more extensive and expensive leak tests.



2 weeks later, the AC is not cooling again.



I am calling somebody else, 3 strikes and you are out in my book. I am tired of wasting time and Money on a company that cannot fix the problem. I cannot recommend the company.

Melroy has served many thousands of customers. I wish to thank them for making this customer for life happy. I bought a boiler, two acs, a water heater and faucets from them. they found sewer drain problems that got my sewer fixed for free by the builder. They have the skills and technology to fix almost anything. I also bought two thermostats, a steam humidifier, and new outfdoor frost proof hose bibs. They also installed a new R/O system with a much bigger capacity than I had before. They installed my new gas cook top and microwave. they have installed two of my three diswashers over the years. I also bought two new toilets. All in all I am very pleased. I just hope i don't need anything more, but than again I own a house, the ultimate money pit.Patty C.

Terrible. Did not get a Howard County permit to do work in my home. Unresponsive to emails and phone calls.
