Catalina Building Corp is a second generation building contractor established in South Florida since 1958. We became a leading home builder in Miami-Dade County during the decades of the 60's and 70's, building communities that have become a part of the landscape of Miami-Dade County: Lake Sheldon in Hialeah, Lake Catalina Estates, Miami, Tanglewood, Palmetto Bay, Kendall Point, Miami, Catalina Hills, Miami, and Pepperwood, Miami.During the next three decades we began focusing on building custom single family homes. Many custom homes were built in the exclusive neighborhoods of Palmetto Bay, Pinecrest, and East Kendall locations of Miami. In addition to building custom homes, we expanded the business to include additions and renovations as well as selective commercial projects. As home inspections became popular, we recognized the need for competent and experienced home inspections. We established a new division to provide this service to the community.We are CAPS designated ( Certified Aging In Place Specialist ) by the National Association of Home Builders and have been helping the handicapped, physically disabled, and Seniors modify their homes to accomodate their needs. Now referred to as "Aging In Place".
