Went to check into hotel and pool was down for maintenance. One of the reasons that I booked this hotel was because it had an outdoor pool. Looked at rooms & they did not appear to have been updated much over the past 30 years. Looked elsewhere and found much better accomodations. When I called at 3:40 pm to cancel my reservation I was told that I would be charged for first night. I advised that I did not find this fair since the hotel was not as advertised because of pool situation. I was told that the manager of the hotel would call me back. Left this message 4 days ago and still have not heard from manager. Called hotel today when I found 3 nights charges on my bank account for a room I never stayed in. Called and spoke to manager who then said either she or the "owners" would call me back. This hotel is lacking in the least. The rooms are passable maybe at $40 a night but certainly not at $90, & with the pool down it is certainly not worth it. Customer service also is not passable.
