As a young man of twelve, Chef/Owner Shawn Hayes realized his chosen profession to be a chef in the hospitality industry. By 1995, he had a degree from the Culinary Institute of America, years of experience in the field, and was in the right place at the right time for his dream to come true. His philosophy of good food, well prepared, and at a reasonable price has kept customers coming back since he opened the doors to the Blue Ridge Cafe & Catering Company.
