- The needles most often used for Acupuncture are as thin as your hair and about an inch long. The stainless steel needles are used only once and are sterile. - During your first visitYou will be spend 45-60 minutes with your physical therapist performing a thorough evaluation to determine where you may have muscle strengths, weaknesses; range of motion, flexibility and joint mobility impairments and balance and proprioceptive deficits. A treatment plan, specific to your body, your injury and your goals will be developed. Treatment will incorporate a combination of a variety of hands-on, manual therapy treatments, as well as a thorough therapeutic exercise program.
