We offer a unique and affordable personalized training experience for you and your dog based on positive re-enforcement, leadership, behavior modification, and creative problem solving. We can train YOU to recognize what your dog is feeling and why, based on body language, and show you how to prevent those unwanted behaviors. Our main goal is to offer each dog owner the tools to understand our dogs behavior and show each owner how to provide a life for their dog that is free of stress, aggression, insecurity and allow your dogs to relax and enjoy life.

Lisa at Best Paw Forward gave me the tools that I needed to work with my aggressive rat terrier mix dog. Lisa taught me how to become pack leader and to gain my dog's trust. All I needed were the proper techniques and now I can practice practice practice! Thanks Lisa!

Best Paw Forward specializes in dog behavior/psychology and basic training.   We offer both group obedience classes and private lessons at prices that are extremebly affordable. Our classes are smaller to provide more personalized attention to each family and dog. For dogs with behavior issues or are too young to be fully vaccinated: we provide personalized one on one lessons and rehabilitation in you home-around your schedule. All dogs in group classes must be fully vaccinated and non-aggressive. We provide private lessons for those who present behavior issues such as aggression, or are not vaccinated.
