Duct Work
We recommend cleaning out your furnace and ductwork every 2-3 years. For heating units only you may lean more towards 3 years, however if you have air conditioning or a heat pump that is running year round we recommend closer to 2 years.
Dryer Ducts
Dryer vent and bathroom exhaust fan cleaning from Aurora Edmonds Cleaning includes the venting and the dryer itself. Venting is cleaned from both inside and outside the house with powerful suction and air whips. After cleaning, we run the dryer for several minutes to insure proper flow is restored and the duct is securely hooked up. Occasionally a dryer vent that has been neglected and becomes completely clogged requires us to disassemble most of the dryer venting. In this case an additional fee of $50 is applied to the service base charge for the additional labor. In the event your dryer duct is poorly installed or not up to code, our technicians can quickly install a new venting system either at the time of service or at a future appointment
