Apex Plastics, established in 1970, specializes in custom and proprietary blow-molded bottles, containers and shapes. It provides quick turn-around for short-to-medium production runs of specialty shapes and colors. In addition to maintaining dozens of customer molds it has a large variety of in-house, stock molds. A subsidiary of Plastic Companies Enterprises of Lincoln, Neb., the company has made substantial capital expenditures in machines and secondary equipment and in the complete rebuild of its major machinery and the expansion of its production facilities and warehouse. It has also added state-of-the art cooling, material handling and conveying systems. Apex Plastics is located in Brookfield, Mo.
