Provided by YP.comDon't do it. I bought a $4K fireplace from them back in March 2016, installed in April, but it has never worked properly. The flames on this unit, a Valor, never turn yellow, but remain mostly a "gas-flame" blue. After many service calls, I was told I needed a new unit. That was late Sept. It's now 3 months later, and no word. I've called several times only to receive voicemail, and no one will call me back. Don't buy from them.

Provided by YP.comThe first time (and last time) I went in there I found the staff to be rude and not helpful. I would not recomend shopping here.
Derek, I am shocked that you had such a bad experience here. Our showroom staff is usually exceptionally friendly and helpful. We even often help people find what they are looking for when it is not something we carry. I would appreciate if you would give me a call to discuss what exactly happened to make your experience so bad, so we can make sure it never happens again.

Provided by YP.comI had my fireplace done by them and it was measured incorrectly, so when the guy came to install the fireplace was off center from the mantel. Everytime I look at it it bothers me, there is more marble showing on one side of the fireplace than the other. I called them when it happened and they said there was nothing they could do about it. It is a focal point in the room so when people look at it they always comment, did you know your fireplace is off center?
I am sorry to hear that this has happened, but it is the first time I am hearing of this result. There could be a number of reasons that this occured. My hunch is that the wall built after the fireplace was installed and was not centered on the fireplace. Later, when the time came to install the marble and mantel, the mantel was centered on the wall, and not the fireplace. I would appreciate it if the owner would call me directly and we could discuss this. I can be reached at 781-857-1000 x 214.

Provided by YP.comI have a friend who has worked with Anderson and he had great things to say about them. He told me if I ever needed custom fireplace work I should stop by and check out their showroom. I plan on stopping by and checking out all the great custom fireplaces and talk to them about doing the fireplace installation.

Provided by YP.comI had work done by their other company Anderson Insulation and because of the professionalism they used on that job, I'm definitely going to use them to replace my fireplace.

Provided by YP.comI had several companies out to give me quotes. Anderson had the best price for the services they offered and they were also the most professional when they arrived.

Provided by YP.comDo yourself a favor and don't do business with Anderson. My wife and I got an onsite quote for specific work, agreed to it, ordered the fireplace then found they denied they offered to do the work and hung up on my wife when she protested. Now we have a hole in our wall and a worthless estimate. Stay away!
