Southern Waste Systems and Sun Recycling are independently owned and operated service providers with twelve locations in South Florida. The company was founded in 1999 by Anthony Lomangino and Charles Gusmano and together with their leadership team, they offer decades of experience in the collection, processing and recycling of commercial, industrial, municipal and residential waste. The owners and their team are hands on and actively involved in all aspects of our operation. A mission to gather completely satisfied customers is the foundation of our core values. Through Sun Recycling we offer a substantial advantage over any other recycling company in the Southeast. Our customers enjoy the convenience of disposing of waste on their sites into one container. This avoids making the space necessary on the site for separate containers and the hassle employees experience when needing to separate materials at the job site. That single source container is processed at our facilities utilizing the most up to date equipment and processes in the industry. We are able to offer accurate, legitimate and verifiable LEED reports for our customers. We are consistently recycling up to 90% of the materials we collect and in some cases over 90%. This gives our customers peace of mind knowing they are meeting the percentages necessary to achieve those highly important LEED points for waste processing. Most importantly, this recycling returns useful material to the economy and saves valuable landfill space. As a full service construction support organization, we can help you prepare building sites from demolition to final grade prior to erection of buildings. If you are on a construction site, in addition to containers, we can provide recyclable materials like crushed concrete aggregate, “Greenfil” our exclusive recycled number two fill and wood mulch. In addition, we can provide portable restrooms for any job or special event through our portable restroom company, All Star Toilets.
