I had the unfortunate experience of having two car accidents where AJB was called to the scene. Both times I was ripped off. In my 1st accident, several years ago, I was told it could be fixed for $1200. On the day I was supposed to pick it up, more than 10 days from said accident I was told that it would cost 3 times what I was told to fix it. When I said no I'll coming for my car I was told I would have to pay over $1000 in "storage fees." I was forced to sign over my car to them. In the most recent accident, knowing the damage was too much and determined not to let this thief get another car from me I had auto recycling place pick it up. Since he closed at the unreasonably early hour of 4 pm it was agreed that he would call me the next day for payment this time $235 in "fees". After not hearing from him for over a week I received a threatening voice mail that the police would be called on me for fraudulently taking my car from his lot. This con man should be the one in jail!

My van wouldn't start in my driveway, they arrived about 15 minutes after I called. Driver was friendly and knew what he was doing, his truck was clean and fairly new. Charge was $55 for the service call + $5 fuel surcharge + $3/mile. I followed the tow truck in my car and measured the mileage which was 2.2 miles, he charged me for 3 miles but I didn't say anything; I didn't feel like breaking out the pocket change. Overall he did a good job, I would call AJB again, but I think next time I will see if I can find a lower rate.
