APNR's mission is to promote and defend the ideals of democratic and open societies, advocate for mutual understanding, respect between and among individuals and communities, promote peace and human security, transparency and accountability in governance, community economic integration, and social and cultural development amongst the peoples of Africa in the Diaspora. Through Its programs, APNR seeks to provide the forum for various viewpoints to create understanding among individuals and between individuals and their communities. APNR is based in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania the United States of America. Contents for its reports and other program materials come from a network of mediums. The ultimate goal of APNR is to build a truly African radio station in the Diaspora fulfilling the information needs of the community of the whole in the Diaspora and the continent.
