History Advanced Tree Care was established on April 19th 1999 by Robert Weatherill. From the beginning it was based on the premise of providing superior quality tree care to the San Francisco Bay Peninsula and providing opportunities for employees to develop their skills as arborists through continuing education and training. We are a small, slow growing company providing up to date training and technology to all our employees. This ensures that the service we provide to our clients will be of the highest quality. Certified and Consulting Arborist I was born and raised in England. After obtaining a degree in Civil and Structural Engineering at Manchester University, England I continued my engineering career as a site engineer for a contracting company in England. I became more aware of how trees impact our surrounding environment and pursued a 2 year course in arboriculture at Myerscough College, Lancashire, England. At the end of the course I was fortunate to be offered an internship working with Mayne Tree Expert Company, San Carlos, California. I obtained a very valuable education and experience working with some of the best arborists on the San Francisco Bay Peninsula. I became a Certified Arborist in 1995 and completed the American Society of Consulting Arborist's Academy in 1999. After receiving this valuable education with Mayne Tree Expert Company, I decided to set up business on my own. I am now fortunate enough to be able to use my knowledge of construction and arboriculture and apply it to the preservation of trees on the San Francisco Bay Peninsula.
