I take off from work to meet the workers at 11am, the technician arrive 4 hours late from original appointment time, walked in without even looking or examining the carpet or the size of the rooms, giving me a bill of $359 plus tax. After 20 min of dishonest statements; he said that I was wasting his time and he cannot charge less than $295.

First, the internet quoted price was $129 to clean a couch, loveseat and 3 small cushions. I considered this reasonable and scheduled the cleaning. When the two men arrived, the first thing discussed was for an extra $20 for the couch and $15 for the loveseat they would add additional chemicals that would do a better job. I was uncomfortable, left with a feeling that if I did not pay the extra $35 I would get a lousy job - what I should have done was cancel the service. The man using the cleaning machine was obviously interested in nothing but getting to the next job, completing the task in less than 30 minutes with an obviously "wham, bam, thank you" approach. He left the four arm covers in a "pile" on the top of the couch and they were wet (as expected). The cushions were left on the couch - since they were also wet, how was the foundation under the cushions supposed to dry. My rug was picked up on December 8th, it's now December 27th. I know, I know, holiday's are hectic, however, I was quoted a 5-7 day timeline when it was picked up. I've been waiting patiently... after 2 weeks I've had to be the one persuing the drop off time/date, rather than them coordinating it with us,

Had a small flooding problem from my courtyard ( like a half an inch of water over half my bedroom) and called Blackman Mooring. Asked for a quote 2 times and was put off (I was stupid) and the cost ended up being more than it would have cost for new carpet and a little sheetrock. To top it off the carpet does not look very good now and they ripped off 6 foot of baseboard and hauled it off..........which means I have to replace what could have been reused. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING FROM BLACKMAN MOORING WITHOUT A QUOTE. Don't be stupid like me.......if they had given me a quote I would have paid the service charge..which they know; it is all a game to separate you from your money with no attemp to provide quality service at a fair price. DON"T USE THEM
