My complaint is that this company is purposely passing bad checks.
I ordered custom products with a reasonable deadline. They charged my card for the order and promised it would be done on time. I provided all of the necessary information in a timely manner (payment, artwork, approval, etc). Four days before the deadline, I was told my products would not be completed in time for my event.
They agreed to send me a refund but they have not as of yet. After multiple requests for a refund over 7 months, the CEO David M. sent a company check. After depositing the check, I was told that it bounced due to him putting a stop payment on the check. He denied putting a stop payment on the check but the manager at the bank confirmed it.
He sent another check but it bounced due to insufficient funds. I let him know about the insufficient funds and I re-deposited the check 7 days later. It bounced because he CLOSED HIS BANK ACCOUNT. He is no longer communicating with me. The amount of money he owes me is $1,036.
I believe this person purposely sent checks to me that would not clear, and this occurred 3 times. Passing bad checks on purpose is a felony. This is theft.
Even though this entire process was incredibly frustrating, I never showed any aggression or threats in any of my communication with CEO David M. I was never informed of any wrongdoing on my part that would cause the order to not be completed in time. They assured me during the entire process that there would be no problems with meeting the deadline, until the last minute - 4 days before the deadline they said they could not fulfill the order at all.
Bottom line, they acknowledge that they owe me a refund. CEO David M. has shown that he does not stand by his word and essentially steals money from his customers. He purposefully writes bad checks. There is nothing CEO David M. could say to justify his totally unprofessional behavior. He just needs to refund me.
Salisbury Sales is a crooked business that writes bad checks. And I will not hesitate to let everyone know.
