My husband and I had a delightful stay over New Year's at this lovely historic home, taking in the Christmas lights and the last firework display of 2012. The house has been carefully preserved and tastefully decorated with interesting period antiques. The proprietors are gracious and most welcoming. The breakfasts, served on a elegantly set dining table, were balanced, offered variety, and were on par with anything offered in New Orleans' restaurants for a fine morning meal. So glad we found this little gem and the time to relax.
