My grandparents worked for Standard Candy Company many years ago, including providing a recipe for turtles. As a little girl, I paid 10 cents for a Goo Goo cluster. At that time, it was described as a nourishing lunch. My grandparents sent Goo Goos to me in college, but mice in my room attacked.

Nothing ever tastes as good as remembered. However, I still love Goo Goos and hope you do too. As the baby said, "goo, goo!"

This company is a legend in Tennessee by making the famous Goo Goo Bar. Having been in the plant personally, cleanliness is a high priority, which impresses me greatly.
