I have used national many times in different airports and never had a unsatisfactory experience, until Nashville. The car was filthy and had lots of flaws on the outside. I felt more like I was rent-a-wreck instead of National.

Best thing about a rental- quick and easy. Car was in great shape, pick up and drop off seamless.

Absolutely the BEST airport for car rental...and if you're a National Emerald Club member it's even better! No cruddy shuttle buses to get to the lot - easy walk. Ta-da! National is on the first floor of the rental garage and the Emerald Aisle is front and center. ALWAYS a good selection of vehicles to choose from - last month I could have picked a VW Bug or a Chevy Camaro or a Chevy Equinox or Jeep Patriot among many others... (I went with a Dodge Journey. Gotta mix it up) Took longer at baggage claim than to pick up my car and on my way! Return was just as simple. ALL airports should have the Aisle... I have been a member of the Emerald club for several years now and it is the only car rental company I have or will use. Although they did not have quite the selection at the Nashville Airport during our recent trip, I had to understand that it was over the Thanksgiving weekend. Their still the best.

The airport is too inadequate to handle large amount of returns. As a result, long wait times even before getting to the National return location.

Excellent service...unsurpassed. will defintely use them in the future. Very convenient

This National has the best process for picking up your rental car: just walk to where the cars are parked, get in one, and drive to the check-out. The cars here are always clean. The only negative is that on the rare occasion you may need to wait five minutes or so for a car because Nashville can be such a busy place at certain times of the year.

When we got to the airport I had pd for a rental at hertz, but they wouldn't allow me to have the car without putting a minimum of $200 security deposit on a credit card. I didn't have a credit card, just a debit with a daily limit that wouldn't allow another $200 charge. I had cash, but they refused to work with me. I walked across to the Alamo counter where Charles & Jerry were happy to help me. While it cost me more to rent from National/Alamo I was VERY pleased with the helpful service and the gentlemen who made sure my children and I had a way to get to our destination that night. I was also impressed with how easy it was to check the car back in when we returned it. P. Gerking
