General Info
I love working in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) because every day is different. The diversity in each patient and the reasons they seek care are vast and unique. I enjoy working with individuals through all stages of life, including adolescence, pregnancy, and menopause. On any given day, I provide preventative care, perform in-office procedures, deliver babies, and perform surgery. I believe the best way to help patients achieve optimal health is through shared decision-making. I work with patients to develop a realistic care plan that is supported by medical evidence and also meets their needs and goals. OB/GYN care can be very personal and sensitive. I strive to bring compassion and empathy to the bedside and create an environment that exudes trust and support. Whether I’m sharing a patient’s joy when delivering their first child or providing comfort and support as they experience a miscarriage or cancer diagnosis, I’m here for my patients. I am a strong advocate for women’s health and welcome members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I want my patients to feel heard and provide them with the knowledge and confidence to advocate for their health and well-being. I have a passion for minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and robotic surgery. This approach helps patients in many ways. They recover faster and return to work more quickly. They also have less post-operative pain, which reduces the need for opioid pain medication.
