- Orthopedic SurgeryThere aren’t enough words I can put into a perfect description of how I feel about this man and how grateful I am to him for making me perfect again – and yes, I am back to normal. I had a laminectomy and an L4-L5 PLIF with intervertebral disc placement, held together with hardware. I was very scared pre-operatively, but he put me at ease... and, I TOTALLY TRUSTED him in the care he provided. As a FUSSY nurse, I highly recommend Dr. Wilkening to anyone who needs to have orthopedic surgery.

- Hip ReplacementWhat can I say? Well for 1, I’d love to stress how professional, thorough, and caring Dr Kathleen Hogan is/was during my whole right hip replacement surgery/pre-op was and soon I can say post-op was. I was very anxious and stressed prior to my surgery, it wasn’t the surgery itself it was the spinal/nerve block that would be administered, I was a complete wreck, worse then a 20 car pile up, Well let me say this, Dr Hogan was so kind and understanding of my plight, she let me know that I’d be well taken care of by her and her surgical team and that she was here to make me better by all means, she wasn’t wrong; EVERYONE was wonderful. I was kept overnight at the Elliot, the next day I went home; no issues. Because of this anterior hip replacement and nerve block, I was off all pain meds in 2 days. I had sore muscles; understandable if you know how the surgery is performed but that is it. No pain whatsoever from my hip, yay. I only had sore muscle discomfort. I did my in home P.T. with VNA and that went without a hitch, I was faithful with my exercises and because of this...
- Knee ReplacementI have arthritis throughout my body and have been living for several years with very painful knees. I have had my rotator cuffs repaired by Dr. Vailas years ago, so when my knees were getting so I could barely walk, I decided to have them checked out. Dr. Hogan was the doctor suggested by Dr. Vailas. I am very glad that I saw her. I ended up with a total knee replacement and do not regret it. Dr. Hogan gave me options of first trying shots in my knees which worked for a while but after the last shot wore off too quickly, and after speaking with Dr. Hogan and with information I received, I felt confident that I was making a good decision to have knee replacements surgery. Dr. Hogan took time to find out what made me decide to have the knee replacement surgery. Basically I wasn’t able to enjoy my grandchildren. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hogan. She is a very competent and caring and would go back to her. Finally, Thank you Dr. Hogan...

- Bunions ProblemsSomething happened to me on my way to better feet … l realized I should have done this years ago. For 15 years I have been putting off dealing with my painful, ugly bunions. Seriously, even the word is awful! Well, I am nearing the end of my treatment with you and I wanted to congratulate you on your fantastic team. For years I heard about how painful the procedure and the recovery is. I heartily disagree. With the one exception of an overzealous suture picker who shall remain nameless, my pain never made it over a 4/10. I also have the distinction of sporting one of the “biggest dressings we have ever seen him do.”
- HammertoesI found Dr. Michaud in late 2013 after being very unhapay with a recent foot procedure. I am a nurse with bad feet and needed someone to deal with multiple issues. In the past year Dr. Michaud has done amazing work. I now have a pain free bunion and hammertoe and am on my way to running 5k’s! This is something I had given up on. Dr. Michaud is kind, caring and listens to the issue. He gives his all in finding a solution. My feet will probably never be pain free but they are better than they have been in a long time, and certainly better than I ever expected thanks to Dr Michaud.
