- Fluoride TreatmentThe Zoom! Whitening procedure is simple and painless. It begins with a short preparation to isolate your lips and gums. Then the proprietary Zoom! Whitening Gel is applied, which is activated by a specially designed light. Teeth typically become at least six to ten shades whiter, sometimes more. A five-minute fluoride treatment completes the procedure. You will be amazed with the results! In most cases, your teeth will get even whiter the first few days after the procedure.
- Dental Sealants
- FillingsFor years there has been debate in the dental profession regarding the pros and cons of using silver amalgam fillings, which contain about 50% mercury, to restore cavities. While it has not been proven scientifically mercury can harm you, we have chosen to not use silver amalgam/mercury fillings, as the technology involved with them is well over 100 years old. There are also several drawbacks to them, which can cause trouble for teeth with silver fillings.
- Resin CompositeAt our office we prefer to provide our patients with the newest and best alternatives available, which are bonded ceramic composite resins. Not only do they look natural, they provide a much better service and protection for your teeth, as they eliminate all the shortcomings of the old fashioned silver fillings. They seal the teeth better, insulate against hot and cold better, and if they wear down they can be Amalgams/Mercury Silver Fillings repaired more easily. Many people who are undergoing a cosmetic improvement on their front teeth elect to have dark silver fillings in their back teeth replaced with the bonded ceramic resins to provide a total cosmetic improvement. Please call the office if you want to look into replacing any of your old, unsightly silver fillings.
- VeneersPorcelain veneers are thin coverings that are custom fabricated and bonded into place. Veneers can be used to improve the following situations...
- CrownsIf you’re self-conscious about your smile due to cracked, broken, decayed or worn teeth, we can bring back your healthy, natural-looking smile with crowns. A filling can restore a small defect in a tooth, but a crown is the most durable, strongest way to restore a tooth with extensive damage, front or back for the long term. With all the materials and techniques modern dentistry has to offer, crowns can be totally natural looking.
- BridgesDental bridges are very similar to dental crowns and are one option when a tooth is missing. When a tooth is lost, the missing space can be filled using bridgework. Bridgework involves shaving down the teeth adjacent to the missing tooth. The bridge is cemented to these adjacent teeth which anchor it. Bridgework is very popular because no surgery is required, only two appointments are needed, teeth are cemented in securely, and feel and look like real teeth.
- Dental BondingModern dental composites come in a full spectrum of colors, allowing us to find the exact color match to your teeth. Dental bonding is a more economical option as compared to dental veneers and/or crowns, and can be accomplished in one appointment.
- Root Canal TreatmentWhen the nerve inside the center of your tooth becomes sick, or dies, a root canal may be performed to help save it. Most people cringe at the thought of needing to have a root canal, however, after completion, most are surprised at how painless, and easy they can be. The goal of the procedure is to save your tooth, which negates the need to extract it, and replace it. At almost 95 % effective, it is one of the most predictable forms of dentistry we an offer our patients. Anesthesia is used to profoundly numb the area, allowing us to gently cleanse the center of the tooth, and sterilize it. A rubber material is then placed inside the tooth, all the way to the tip to seal it.
- Deep CleaningWe emphasize the fight against gum disease because it is a silent killer of teeth. We teach patients everything they need to know to continue fighting this disease at home, though patients may still need scaling and root planning in the dental office.
- DenturesWhen patients are faced with missing several teeth, or even all their teeth, removable dental work may be recommended or preferred. Both complete and partial dentures are removable plastic teeth which are custom fitted to the patients’ mouth. The only difference is how many teeth are being replaced.
- Dental ImplantsWhen permanent teeth are lost, regardless of the reason or number of teeth, dental implants can offer a “new lease on life.” They are superior to other choices because they are solid, secure, and esthetic. After nearly 35 years of use, they have a 90-95% proven success rate in appropriately chosen cases.

- Tooth ExtractionsWe also treat patients who have suffered from a lifetime of dental problems and/or periodontal disease who require multiple extractions, utilizing the same techniques as described above. We can help those individuals maintain the integrity of their bone which could support crown and bridge, partial dentures or even a complete denture. Many patients undergo tooth extractions and leave with new teeth at the same appointment.
- Bone GraftingToday’s modern techniques, utilizing bone grafting during surgery, help to preserve over 90% of the patient’s existing bone levels. Such techniques allow patients to become better candidates for dental implant tooth replacement by maintaining the thickness of the jawbone. It also aids in maximizing the esthetics of the final dental prosthesis. Our office routinely offers socket preservation as an adjunct to dental extractions.
- Orthodontics
- Invisalign OrthodonticsInvisalign uses 3-D computer imaging technology to design the complete treatment plan, from the initial teeth positioning to the desired final positioning. This 3-D imaging allows you to preview the final positioning of your teeth before you start treatment. Custom-made aligners are created based on the imaging information. Each of these aligners moves teeth incrementally and is worn for about 2 weeks. Typically, you will visit your dentist once every 6 weeks for “progress reports.” Not every situation can be treated with Invisalign, so call the office to get an evaluation to see if you can be helped with this new technology.
- BracesFDA approved Invisalign is the “invisible” way to straighten your teeth without wearing conventional metal braces. Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable custom-made aligners to move your teeth. Because you remove your aligners before you eat and drink, there are no food restrictions or problems with flossing or brushing. This technology is also more comfortable, avoiding the mouth abrasions that can be caused by the metal and wires of conventional braces. And this technology is also more convenient, since you are likely to spend less time in the doctor’s office getting adjustments.
- Teeth WhiteningThe Zoom! In-Office Whitening System is a revolutionary tooth whitening procedure. It's safe, effective and fast - very fast. In just over an hour, your teeth will be dramatically whiter. Zoom! Whitening is ideal for anyone looking for immediate results. The convenience of Zoom! in comparison to days of wearing trays and gradual whitening makes it the perfect choice for the busy individual.
