It was a production line. Our photos were awful. They do not take time to actually review the photos they take. Forget a retake. Why would we go back?

Ridiculous. They have moved back in June 2014, but they are incapable of changing the address on their web site!!! Sat at the 1293 Naper blvd unable to get anyone on the phone or 800 number. Hello 21st century anyone?? Can you update your web site??

Service was horrible. They scheduled 20 students at the same time, and only had 1 photographer. Receptionish and photographer stated they were aware and company told them not to call and reschedule. So all these students showed up, waiting over a hour, some left. Very bad business. The school should not use them as they are taking advantage and wasting everyones time.

if I could give zero stars I would! !! Waited over one hour for our 1230 apt. only one photographer!!! Did not give us an option to reschedule. Even took people before us. Very unprofessional! !! Horrible!

I liked my yearbook photos. Root is VERY reasonably priced (check out the sitting fees and package prices of other photography places; plus, the yearbook session is FREE) and if for some reason you don't like the photos, they offer retake sessions. Unlike other companies, you are not required to purchase any photos. It's only "a waste of money" if you make it so.

Hahaha, thanks Megan. That's very flattering. I have nothing but great memories of the time that I spent working there. There are some awesome photographers there as well as a host of other great individuals. As a former employee I not only approve of this message but I recommend going to Root Studio to meet the wonderful staff.

The photographer there, I believe his name is Darren, is probably the best photographer in the Chicagoland area. He knows how to treat his clients and puts a smile on your face. (& he's super sexy) He is not your average photographer! Anyone who goes to Root Studios in Naperville IL ask for Darren!- Megan Santiago
