General Info

Dr. Deer grew up in Urbandale, Iowa. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology and Spanish at Simpson College. She attended Des Moines University for her medical degree and subsequently completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology in Omaha at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Deer’s professional interests include obstetrics including vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC), infertility, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Dr. Deer joined our practice in August 2018. She is engaged and they have a puppy. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring new places, donating time to philanthropies as well as cooking and baking.
