General Info
Leni Stayman, MD, PhD graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from Far Eastern University in Philippines in 1985. She did her residency in the field of anesthesiology in Manila and later received a scholarship from the Japan Ministry of Education. While practicing anesthesiology and intensive research, Leni Stayman received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy from Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan. She later obtained the position of Neuroscientist at the Brain Science Institute. She was also offered a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Columbia University- Presbyterian Medical Center, NY. In 2000 Leni joined the Stanford University School of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology where she continued her research. She then left academia for the private sector and worked in a biotech company in the Bay Area until she realized she wanted to manage a business of her own. In 2003, Leni opened her first facility and called it Stayman Estates..
