Dogwood Mental Health and Wellness provides holistic mental health services that are grounded in the guiding principles of recovery. Specifically, recovery emphasizes the individuals role in the process of improving his/her mental and physical health and learning to live a self-directed life. More importantly, it recognizes that individuals do not have to surrender to mental illness. Rather, it can be conquered. Simply, individuals can move past mental illness, reach their full potential and experience a meaningful and rewarding life. Dogwood Mental Health and Wellness also offers consulting services related to the development, implementation and evaluation of mental health services, peer support services, social services and interorganizational networks.
