Myrtle Beach Middle School, also known as MBMS, enrolls more than 800 students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes math, science, social studies, physical education and language arts. The school also offers special education classes and guidance counseling services. Myrtle Beach Middle School provides various extracurricular activities that include band and chorus. In addition, it has art and science clubs, as well as a student council and parent-teacher organization. The school has a library and media center and offers food services.
