Interior

• Kitchen Remodeling
  The scope of work for the interiors included replacement of electrical & plumbing fixtures, new carpet and ceramic tile installation, crown molding installation, select countertops, appliance upgrades, new blinds and door hardware packages and full interior repainting. These same services were performed at the clubhouse interior. AAPCO also added granite countertops, custom wallpapered select areas and rewired the interior and outside of the clubhouse for installation of flat screen TVs.
• Bathroom Remodeling
• Flooring
  Ceramic tile flooring was installed in the kitchens. New tile flooring was installed in the baths, and all baths received fully tiled tub surrounds.
• Door Installation/Replacement
  Additional tasks performed on this project were extensive rotten wood replacement, door replacement, and a full repaint of the property. The results at Campus Place Apartments were outstanding-eliminating the water intrusion issue and achieving a cleaner, much more contemporary look for the buildings.
• Drywalls
  With a bold color scheme in hand AAPCO performed this repaint project in Florida ahead of schedule and right on budget. The scope of work included significant stucco and drywall repairs, retexturing and a full repaint of the property.
• Framing
  Part of this project included demo and reconstruction of the stair structures at the ends of the buildings throughout this property. This included framing the new stairs, some welding and steel repairs to the stair cases and installation of new stucco to the body of these structures.

  With a bold color scheme in hand AAPCO performed this repaint project in Florida ahead of schedule and right on budget. The scope of work included significant stucco and drywall repairs, retexturing and a full repaint of the property. All of the residential buildings, detached garages, carport structures and multiple amenity buildings were painted. We also repainted a large stucco perimeter wall, PVC perimeter fencing and numerous aluminum fences throughout the property.
• Skylight Repair/Replacement
  When West Wind Landing in Savannah, Georgia needed large skylights in the breezeways removed from their 34 buildings during their roof replacement project, AAPCO made it look easy. With their experienced and knowledgeable crew, AAPCO also replaced the existing, smaller skylights on the individual units.

Construction

  The AAPCO Group's history mirrors the career path of Founder and CEO Chip Dobner in many ways. It began in Atlanta, Georgia in 1988 as a new construction painting contractor for the multi-family apartment industry and then moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 1991. As AAPCO pursued and attracted renovation projects in the Carolinas, the goals were to be a successful contractor, perform quality work, and establish a solid reputation in the industry. Through Chip's desire to establish trusted relationships with his clients, AAPCO quickly grew into one of the largest multi-family apartment renovation contractors in the region.
• Demolition
  In addition to the stucco at the stairwells, AAPCO did stucco repairs throughout the property. Working with the owner's engineers we performed exploratory demolition. We identified and replaced a significant amount of rotten framing members within the stucco walls and then repaired the damaged stucco.

Landscaping and Fencing

  For the pool area upgrade, AAPCO constructed an entertaining area complete with a stainless steel grill and stone enclosure. AAPCO also installed new pavers, constructed a new arbor, and improved the pool lighting and fencing. The end result enhanced the pool area of the property and provided a fun area for occupants to gather and socialize.

  In addition to the above named services, AAPCO also performed repainting, extensive tree removal, carpentry repairs, brick repairs, and numerous amenity upgrades.

• Window Installation/Replacement

  In addition to the interiors, AAPCO also performed exterior work that consisted of a full repaint that included concrete staining of all breezeways and patios, re-siding of chimneys with installation of new custom-made chimney caps and patching, seal-coating, and re-striping of all asphalt parking areas.
• Gutters
  AAPCO provides a number of guttering solutions such as full gutter replacement, new gutter installation, gutter guards, and more. All of our guttering systems start with job-formed, seamless gutters in 5-inch or 6-inch sizes. Plus, all of our gutter corners are shop-formed with welded corner seams. • Porches
  A large component of this project included full demolition of the existing balcony stacks as well as removal of the mansard-style façade structures on the bodies of the buildings. New ground floor concrete patios were poured prior to the reconstruction of the balconies. The townhome building on the property received similarly constructed porches at the unit entry doors.
• Residential Roof Repair

• Residential Roof Replacement/Installation
  The roofing replacement services also included extensive wall and step flashing details as well as full shingle removal and the subsequent installation of 25-year, 3-tab shingles. Additional services provided on this project included extensive rotten wood replacement and a full repaint of the property.

General

• Painting
  Another AAPCO service that greatly added to the major repositioning was the exterior painting; Steeplechase Apartments received a full repaint.
• Carpentry
  AAPCO's list of carpentry reconstruction services include the typical offerings, but done with the AAPCO attention to detail and time-reducing project management. These services include balcony / stairway rebuilding, building profile enhancements like gable additions, breezeway entry & balcony stack "bump-outs," roofline modifications, and more.
• Caulking
  The property also received a full exterior paint system. This included caulking of all voids & terminations and painting of all siding, stucco, trim, doors, rails, etc.

Pressure Washing

• Residential Pressure Washing
  Kenilworth Commons, a retail center in Charlotte, North Carolina, was suffering from extensive paint peeling on the buildings’ CMU block areas, located at the sides and rear of the buildings. The original reddish-colored paint was also severely faded, mildewed and chalky. To remedy the problem, AAPCO performed an exhaustive prep process in these areas that included pressure washing / bleach treating of the building and the scraping of all peeling areas of the CMU block walls.
