Was a great place to go when they opened. Over time the owner has been his own best customer at the bar while chasing his regulars away. Only place in town that has employed 80% of F&BI. This business does not support downtown Muskegon activities, which in turn has local organizations now banning together and not supporting Tipsy Toad. What a shame the owner has run the place in the ground!! Only gave it one star because I had to put something in there, kinda like the penny for bad service, want them to know you didn't forget!!

We've eaten at the Tipsy Toad 4 times in the past year. Each time the food was good and the service prompt and friendly. They just added a new rooftop bar & dining area which I haven't tried but should be great in the summer.The menu is varied reasonably priced. So far we haven't had anything we didn't like. If you like Frog Legs you'll love them here. Done just right!My only complaint is the relatively small size of the indoor dining area. Two of our visits were in cold weather and the dining area nearest the street gets quite chilly every time the door opens. Perhaps a double door "airlock" would be a good idea.

We frequent this restaurant often and we have loved every meal we have had. You CAN'T beat the prices anywhere and it is just so much fun going there. Owners are extremely personable and friendly. Deserts are great and portions of all are very very plentiful. This is truly our favorite place to go.
