What a disappointment for health-conscious tenants. Don't move here if you want to breathe clean air as DTN places smoking tenants in the same buildings as non-smokers - no options for non-smoking apartments. Smoking tenants thoughtlessly and sometimes intentionally expose pregnant women, newborns and children to the chemicals & poisons they themselves choose to ingest - with no recourse for non-smoking families except to move out at their own expense. With a little planning and forethought, non-smokers COULD be separated from smokers - with everyone happy, but DTN has no plans to make any changes to Lake Forest Apartments - likely because the vast majority of the tenant population here smokes. Sad that in 2013, parents cannot protect their children from being exposed to cancer causing air in DTN managed properties. Very disappointing as it's a beautiful community with such potential.

Lake Forest is Awesome!!! My apartment is great, my neighbors are friendly yet keep to themselves, and the indoor pool is always warm. The staff treat you great, they remember my name and always say hello and ask how I am doing and if they can do anything for me or the apartment. If you are looking for a place to stay, come here you won't be disappointed.
