We have been proudly serving west Michigan since 1965.We are a full service repair facility specializing in transmission and drive line repair. Bud and Rays is a proud second generation family owned business. . My father started the business in 65 and I worked with him for several years before his retirement. My approach to my business is mixing the "old" with the "new". We provide old fashioned service with the best up to date technology.We care about our customers and take pride in our work..We always go the extra mile to make your experience with as pleasant as possible.

My transmission went out in my car while driving, I had to pay a tow truck $50 to get it home. Few days later I found Bud & Rays they came to get my car and towed it to their shop for free and fixed my transmission at a reasonable price even got a free oil change. :-)
Don't let the name fool you. they have never done any transmission work for me but have been providing other other mechanical services for both my personal and company vehicles. Great service with reasonable prices. Believe it or not but they even stand behind their warranty!!

Bud & Ray's is the BEST transmission shop in the area hands down!! Quality service is guaranteed by 2 women that know their stuff!! Can't get better than that!

For over 20 years I have taken my vehicles to Bud and Ray's and I have only positive things to say about the service I have gotten from them. I live 20 minutes away from their facility and I have plenty of places I could take my cars that are a lot closer to home. The reason I make the extra drive is because I have peace of mind knowing that my wife and kids are in dependable vehicles, thanks to Kristi and the Bud and Ray's Team.

What a wonderful experience I had with Bud and Ray's transmission! My transmission failed while on the espressway. I called Bud and Ray's and they not only assured me that they would take a look at it, they sent a tow truck to pick up my car! They made a stressfiul situation less stressful. Kris Bradford, owner, kept me calm while her staff checked out the problem. End result was that they had to rebuild the transmission. My car now works as good as new, maybe better. Kris even called me a couple of weeks after the service just to check on the job her shop had done. She told me that Bud and Ray's specialize in transmissions, but can do most any kind of auto repair. Her shop treats people with courtesy and caring, like the good old days. I would reccommend them to anyone needing any kind of transmission work or auto repairs. The work is guaranteed, the staff courteous and the owner seems to take pride in the work that they do!"
