McKee Button Company is a button manufacturer that specializes in satisfying the needs of its customers with its custom made buttons, apparel or clothing buttons, polyester buttons and trim. Since 1895, when buttons were produced from clamshells, McKee has progressed into manufacturing buttons made from polyester resins for a vast variety of buttons with distinct looks and uses - from fastening garments to pulling drawers. Through the years, designers and manufacturers have relied on McKee to develop buttons for varied specialty applications. The company now produces 'Tortoise' blanks for insertion in wooden drawer pulls and 'Faux horn' blanks for insertion into brass and wooden drawer pulls. In the home furnishing line, it produces buttons for duvets and bed coverings; pillow trim and molded rings for draperies. Its specialty items now include fasteners for health/hygiene projects and button blanks for pool table inserts. McKee s offices are in Muscatine, Iowa.
