The Riverside County Sheriff's Department is a full-service law enforcement agency that prevents crime, protects residents lives and property, preserves peace and order and safeguards constitutional rights. It has partnerships with the Riverside County Sheriff's Deputies Spouses Association, Riverside County Sheriff's Athletic Federation and Riverside Sheriff s Association. The Riverside County Sheriff's Department serves and processes various writs, orders, subpoenas and other civil papers for local courts and other county and state departments. The department also conducts judicial sales of real and personal property, as well as determines property ownership. Established in 1893, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department maintains a location in Murrieta, Calif.
