ThorSport Farm in Tennessee — revealed that this illegal activity continues unabated.

This is the second time in four years that The HSUS has documented trainers and grooms intentionally inflicting pain on Tennessee walking horses. Unscrupulous trainers use a variety of gruesome techniques, including caustic chemicals that burn the horses' flesh, chains and heavy, stacked horseshoes to accomplish this artificial gait rewarded in show rings.

No horse should be made to suffer for a blue ribbon — it is time that cruel soring is stopped.

i wish i could make them feel the pain. i would rate it a zero but that is not even optional. i have seen this done and it is crippling to horses. my grand father had walkers and they have a beautiful gait as is is. this does NOT need to happen. i hope your business is ruined now

My son, Cody Thorp was killed at this facility June 1, 2015 as a passenger in an ATV (used on the farm as part of his job) for which no safety training or protective equipment (a helmet could have saved his life) was provided. If there is that little disregard for human life - what makes you think they would treat horses any better?

The Tennessee Walking horse big lick show business is absolutely sickening. The breed association needs to put an end to this blatant animal abuse. It is a disgrace to the state of Tennessee to allow this cruelty to continue!

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE??? Soring was OUTLAWED, by the way, by the Horse Protection Act of 1970! I hope you have to endure what you put these horses through...there's a special place in HELL for all of you. STOP SORING/TORTURING HORSES! I've contacted the Sheriff...DISGUSTING!

Sickening ThorSport! And nice "spin doctoring," claiming it's all in the "splicing" of the clips. The "Big Lick" is sick, sick, sick. Shame on you! The nation is watching Tennessee. When ThorSport supports the PAST Act, I will bring my horses back to ThorSport.

HOw are they still in business? Their trainers have been caught on undercover video putting caustic chemicals on horses legs, then taping them up so as to burn the horse. The reason is to make the horse step higher. The video shows the horse collapsed on the ground in the stall crying. I wish equal pain and suffering to the owners and workers at this farm!

If you want to see animals in pain and suffering then I guess this is the place for you.. PLEASE do not support Thor Sport Farm or any places like it. We need to have places like this shut down! They treat animals horribly simply for sport and their own entertainment. Check the humane society of america for more details.

Sad treatment to beautiful animals. How can anyone with any sense of humility inflict this cruelty on an animal? I hope the townspeople and all people demand a full investigation and release these horses to those that care. No stars should be given to this pathetic facility.

ThorSport Farm's website is useless. Can't even contact them. No email address. Just a phone number -- so that there is nothing in writing about their horrible, cruel and abusive practices!

Problem is this is not the only place torturing these horses...

Does anybody know if there is a way of returning these horses to a normal life ?

What kind of monster (trainer) would torture such gentle, beautiful animals and then kick and hit them to stand!!!! What kind of an owner would tolerate and not prosecute such a trainer? The trainer needs the same treatment!! He belongs in jail, and that horror chamber needs to be shut down! I pray you go bankrupt!!

Horrible people deserve horrible things to happen to them. I really hope karma is doing its thing. Shut this torture ring down! You're a disgrace to the human race, just like all animal abusers.

Let's shut them down! There are enough of us animal lovers to do it. How dare they do this unspeakable act to those beautiful animals. We can not and will not tolerate this behavior from sick humans. They gotta go

They're animals with thoughts emotions, and feelings. Not robots for you to trot around no matter the cost. I hope someone puts acid on all of your employees and see if they like it.

Horses are intelligent, sensitive animals. I'd really appreciate the trainers' explanation why inflicting such pain is worth it to them and how they justify it to themselves. Maybe you would come to the conclusion that Tennessee Walking horses should be a thing of the past-an ignorant, idiotic idea in the first place. Try a new line of work, one that does not involve cruelty posing as 'training.' At any rate stop lying to yourself it's some kind of profession worthy of anything other than contempt.
