Dr. Helton is an elderly friends of mine's doctor and I have seen first hand the good care he has given her...she is 84 yrs old . He is now my doctor and he is a christian and has a huge caring heart. He is very proffesional and has a very good bedside mannar. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

He is a good doctor, but his practice has outgrown his ability to provide the kind of service he has provided in the past. As a result, his responsiveness is very slow, even with multiple reminders. You cannot get an appointment when one is needed. You cannot depend on accurate prescription information to be submitted. You cannot get the results of tests he ordered. You do not get your calls returned. I have been a long-term patient and have made the decision that it is time to find another doctor.

Dr. Helton is the one of the best doctors we have ever been to. He is patient and caring, and is genuinely interested in his patients. He was one of the reasons I did not wish to move from Murfreesboro. There aren't many doctors like him out there. Wish we could have moved him to Knoxville with us.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Helton's for years. He always takes the time to talk to you and listen to you. He has never acted as if he had to get in and out as fast as he could, even when he is running behind schedule. We would change insurance before we would change doctors. If you are looking for a PCP in this area you should see Dr. Helton. I promise you will not be disappointed.
