A.K. Stamping Company specializes in precision stamping technology that provides engineering, product design and development, production and high volume assembly to the international telecommunications, computer and electronics industries. The company uses thin-gauge (.002 to .125 inches) precision stamping. The A.K. Tool Company was started in 1950 as the collaboration of a few tool and die makers in Union, N.J. In 1954, the company moved to Mountainside, and in 1957, assumed its current name. A.K. Stamping acquired Globe Manufacturing in 1980 and the interim production division in 1991. In addition to its headquarters and sales office in New Jersey, A.K. Stamping Company has sales offices in Northern Europe, Germany and Mexico.
