Dr. Johnsen is fabulous! She is reliable, honest, caring, and highly knowledgeable. I pass by four other vet clinics to get to her because the quality of care is exemplary. In the years I have been taking my animals there, there has never been an unexpected charge or hidden fee. She is upfront about every procedure and does not try to sell anything unnecessary. The staff is an extension of her quality service. I have used several vet clinics over the years, and wish I had found Johnsen Vet long ago. My animals will not go anywhere else.
Living in Shepherdsville we wanted a closer vet than Shively, we tried a couple of ones in BC and had very bad experiences with them. But now we discovered Johnsen, and shes great! She saved our cats life and her staff took very good care of her, they worked fast so I wouldn't have to leave and drive a long ways back. Before she even did the procedure she gave me a full upfront estimate and there were no surprises when the bill came, all of it was done at a fair price. We have 2 dogs and 4 cats and I plan on using her for all our future needs.

Dr Johnsen and her staff are the best! I have been bringing my pets here for over 10 years. I have 4 dogs, 4 cats, and 2 horses. I trust them with their lives!!
